From goats to giraffes, elephants to eels and octopuses to ostriches – embark on an anatomical safari exploring more than 100 real animal specimens. Marvel at the muscles supporting the neck of the five-metre-tall giraffe and stand face-to-face with an adult gorilla.

What: Jamaican Pulse: Art and Politics from Jamaica and the Diaspora

A major exhibition showcasing Jamaican visual art – the first of its kind ever to be held outside of Jamaica, celebrating its diversity and legacy, presenting contemporary work alongside key pieces from Jamaican art history. Includes painting, sculpture, photography, textiles and moving image.

What: Make Design Grow!
Location: Manchester Craft and Design Centre, Manchester
Young scientists are invited to combine their growing and design skills to make clothes and accessories for their own paper man. It coincides with current exhibition Biological Atelier: The Showroom, where artist Amy Congdon considers a future in which materials are grown, not made.
