The Round-Up

Amanda Wilkie trawls the internet so you don’t have to.

It’s Friday, is time to look at what’s been making me laugh on the internet this week. It’s funny. Honest.

1: Iceland’s mince pies have been a big talking subject over the last few days due to unfortunate font usage on their packaging.

2: After going viral, sadly, that picture was revealed to have been Photoshopped. However, this photo, shared on Reddit by user andyburdens, shows Tesco made a bit of a cock-up with the new design for its Buttermilk.

3: We saw possibly Ed Sheeran’s youngest fan when baby Maisie woke from a nap and instantly started dancing in her car seat to his song Don’t.

4: This little boy and his reaction when falling over in his Minion from Despicable Me costume was just a pure delight.

5: The BBC ran a story on Her Majesty, the Queen joining Twitter and sending her very first tweet. Though, oh dear, they also aired the reply from Twitter user @WolfgangDickface.

6: Daniel Radcliffe showed us that he’s a bit of wizard when it comes to remembering rap lyrics after he brilliantly performed Alphabet Aerobics by Blacklacious on The Tonight Show.

7: A big thank you to Diana T for confessing this…

8: Anthony Vincent, the voice of Ten Second Songs, performed Michael Jackson’s Thriller in 20 different musical styles. It certainly wasn’t Bad.

9: Twitter user @AlysiaTCopland posted this photo of a Wizard Nose costume accessory although I think we can all pretty much agree that it actually resembles a different part of anatomy rather than a nose.

10: And, as it’s Hallowe’en, then let’s see possibly one of the scariest pumpkin carvings ever.
