The Round-Up

Amanda Wilkie bravely wades through the Internet so you don’t have to.

Hey, it’s Friday: time to see what the worldwide web’s been spewing out.

1: This four-year-old girl just can’t quite get head round the lyrics to the nursery rhyme she’s singing with her dad.

2: It took @DrScienceCat on Twitter an insanely long time to realise that these weren’t, in fact, tiny brontosauruses.

2 not dinosaurs

3: Thorne Travel Agent’s new advert got rather more attention than we think they were expecting.

4: An oldie but a goodie. Eleanor O’Kane (@elanorokane) shared her favourite ever Guardian clarification and correction.

4 - the correction

5: During live news coverage at the Downtown Summerlin opening in Las Vegas, this kid changed the rules and danced like EVERYONE should be watching.

6: Andrew Stroehlein (@astroehlein) spotted this local graffiti and pointed out he doesn’t live in a particularly tough neighbourhood. (If the mystery graffiti artist strikes again with a similarly themed spraying, I wonder if that would make him a cereal offender)

6 - graffiti

7: Simon the cat got taken for walkies by his owner Morgan James. It wasn’t a walk in the park. Literally.

8: And finally, if you’ve ever wanted to see a dog that bears a striking resemblance to Nigel Farage then you’re in luck…

8 - farage dog
