As Claudia and Tess presided over the remaining 11 contestants as they embraced the spirit of Halloween on the dancefloor, we had the honour of having Cariad Lloyd live blogging the lot. You can relive all the thrills, spills and sequins right here.
Following an emotional goodbye to chef Ainsley Harriet who didn’t cook up enough of a storm on the dancefloor last week and the ever popular (but evidently not popular enough) Daniel O’Donnell the week before, the eleven who remain did their best to shimmy their way into the affections – or at least voting preferences – of judges and viewers alike on Saturday.
And yes, you would be entirely correct if you assumed things would have taken a Halloween turn, themewise.
This week’s dances once again spanned the soundtrack spectrum with tracks from music makers such as Lana Del Rey, The Partridge Family, Sam the Sham and The Pharaohs, Scissor Sisters, Steve Harley and Sarah Brightman, Ella Henderson and Ray Parker Junior.
Dance wise, we were treated to the Tango, Jive, American Smooth, Foxtrot, Salsa, Samba, Paso, Rumba, Charleston and Waltz, and Cariad Lloyd blogged every last step.2473 Views
