The Brit Awards may not be the most prestigious of the ceremonies, which fall under the international ‘awards season’ umbrella, but as history has shown us, they’ve got the potential to grab the most headlines.

Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood in 1989; Chumbawamba and John Prescott in 1998; Brandon Block and Ronnie Wood in 2000; and Geri and her patriotic pants skimmer in 1997 are just some of the memorable moments The Brits has given us.

What will the class of 2017 bring? We can’t tell you that, cause they haven’t happened yet. What we can be sure of though, is that they’ll be happening in London’s O2 and will be in the utterly safe hands of Dermot O’Leary and Emma Willis. We also know that performances by Robbie Williams, Emeli Sandé, Little Mix, Skepta, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars are on the cards.

But more exciting than all of the above is the nailed-on fact that our very own Dotty Winters will be live blogging the lot from her sofa. Tune into ITV and join her from 7.30pm. And while you’re waiting, why not test your Brits knowledge with our quiz.
